Canon M Mirrorless Camera

I got a Canon M as Christmas gift last year. It was ordered from B&H video with two lenses. 

I love to use this kit and have been enjoying it for half year. 

Windows 8 is here！

Yes, it is here.

Yesterday, I went to Fry's Electronic and tried out it on new laptops. It is not bad. I have been using Windows for so many years and used to the interface. This new one looks different to me. I don't like it. Luckily, I found "Desktop" icon there so I can get to the interface I like to see. I tried almost all other icons to get into email, web browser, music, message, and so on.

When I open email, it filled the whole screen. It is easy to read, but not good to keep it open while working other tasks. I really use Windows for multi tasking and keep several applications running. Windows 8 I tried is not good for it.

I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 when it got here. I really like it. This time, I feel there is no need to upgrade to Windows 8 for me.

Window 8 is coming

Today, Microsoft is showing Window 8. It is based on Window 7. It is nice to see the new user interface which can be used in a tablet and PC. Hopefully, there will be a lot of less expensive applications in Window app store. It will be fun to use Window 8.

I visited Microsoft web site and tried to learn more about. I also watched the video in YouTube.

Olympic2010 Winter Game in Vancouver

Last week, I watched the opening of this Olympic 2010 Winter Game. It was great!

Since that time, I watch the game from NBC at night time. US team is doing great in last ten days.

We visited Vancouver in the summer of 2007. It is a beautiful city.

Google New Phone Nexus One

Today, google put its new cell phone(smart phone) to market. Comparing to iphone, I like few things:

1. Removable battery: we can carry extra battery, we can change a new battery in case original battery die out;

2. miniSD card: it provide unlimited space;

3. Application store: more open than Apple store. It means more application for google phone.

4. Other things: 5M pixel camera, Wi-Fi(802.11n), Trackball, works with all the wireless carries and so on.

Windows 7 is here

Today, Windows 7 is here. More computers will be sold this year because of this new operation system. We are expecting to get one copy of Windows 7 upgrade from Amazon.com in one week since we ordered it at price of $50 few month ago. It is a kind of exciting.

We have laptop and PC with Windows Vista at home. Vista is not too bad as some people saying. We are still using Windows XP especially at work. In one old PC, there is Window 98 installed. We need it because of old hardware such as Canon film scanner. Although the CPU is slow and memory is not big, but it is still working.

Microsoft Window 7 is coming

Next week, this Window 7 will be in market around the world. It will be a great one for people. I have tried this beta version and found it is very good. In Amazon.com, I have pre-order a copy for $50. It will be shipped out on Oct 26 based on Amazon.com. For IT, it will be next upgrade. We are still using Window XP at work to avoid Windows Vista. A lot people are holding to buy a new PC or laptop since they are waiting for Window 7.

Having Fun with iPod Touch

Today, I sent my car for 30,000 mile major service. I have to wait there for two hours. I pull out iPod Touch and found very WiFi connection in the dealership. I can check emails, read news, get location on google map and had some reading with it; and listen music. I am very glad to get car back and time was not wasted for those two and half hours. I noticed that several people brought laptops with them and used in that place.
