Apple Annual Music Event

Today is 2009-09-09. There are 3 nines in today's date. In today Apple event, Steve Jobs comes back after he got a liver transplant about five months ago. Several things were presented in the event: iTune 9, new iPod touch with 64GB, new Pod Nano which allows users to record video, listen to FM radio, and track the number of steps taken by exercisers.

Although there is no camera on new iPod touch, the price is reduced for iPod Touch. Steve Jobs said that the company's main goal was to lower the price of the iPod touch as much as possible.

Back to 20 years ago, I was amazed by Macintosh. It was much easy to use and user friendly comparing IBM PCs. I used Mac for my school work such as writing papers and scanner pictures. It was too expensive to own a Mac for me. After leaving school, I don't have any chance to use Mac and never get any Apple product. In last five year or so, Apple ipod, iphone and laptops are welcomed by more and more people. I don't like to get a monthly data plan from AT&T although I like to have an iPhone. Several month ago, my friend showed my his iPod Touch. I found it is very interesting. I was expecting Apple to add a camera to iPod Touch, even a GPS to it. After viewing today's Apple event, I know that I have to wait a year or so if I like to get a iPod Touch with those things. Maybe, it is time for me to get one of those iPod Touch now.
